Ditmas Park was Thompson Country

A very cool New York Times feature shows how the city voted, neighborhood by neighborhood.

Ditmas Park was Thompson country, both on the blocks of apartments and of Victorians, though not as enthusiastically as East Flatbush; to the West, Bloomberg-land. Park Slope and Windsor Terrace, meanwhile, went mostly for Bloomberg.

This is very interesting -- the steady shift from dark blue to the east to dark red to the west...

Thompson suggested a willingness to discuss the Taylor Law -- the one that prevents the cops and firemen from striking.

That is a sufficient reason to bar him for life from NY City politics.
