FDC emails over a reminder of this year's Victorian House Tour, this weekend:
Enjoy some of the wonderful homes in our neighborhood at FDC's Victorian Flatbush House Tour on Sunday, June 8th. The tour starts at Temple Beth Emeth (83 Marlborough Rd., at Church Ave.) at 1 p.m. Tickets are $16 in advance, or $20 day of tour. Purchase tickets through our website at www.fdconline.org, or call FDC at (718) 859-3800.
This year FDC will also be hosting a pre-tour mimosa brunch at the Temple, with a presentation by Ron Schweiger, Brooklyn Borough Historian and neighborhood resident. Tickets for the brunch are $35. For more information about the brunch, please call the above number.

This is my first year to take the Victorian House Tour and to be frank it was pretty disappointing. The homes were not very impressive. Too bad.
